Ash Wednesday - save the date
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a season of reflection, repentance, and renewed hope in God’s transforming grace.
We warmly invite you to join us for a special Ash Wednesday service as we pause together, receive the sign of ashes, and begin the journey toward Easter with honesty, prayer, and trust in Christ’s mercy.
During the service, those who wish may receive the sign of the cross in ash on their forehead. This ancient Christian practice is a simple, physical reminder of both our human frailty and God’s deep compassion, echoing the biblical call to turn again toward God with open hearts. It is not about shame, but about grace, healing, and new beginnings.
Many people find Ash Wednesday a powerful moment to slow down, to name what they are carrying, and to step into Lent with intention and hope, whether they are long-time churchgoers or exploring faith for the first time.
