12th January - The End of Silence

Reading: Isaiah 42:1-9

Devotional: After 400 years of prophetic silence, God spoke again. How often do we mistake God's silence for absence? Like ancient Israel, we can become so accustomed to managing our expectations that we stop truly hoping. We learn to say "I'm fine" when we're drowning. Today, consider the areas where you've settled for a version of faith that doesn't demand much because it doesn't promise much. God's silence is never abandonment—it's often preparation for something transformative. The same God who broke silence at the Jordan is breaking through today. Are you ready to hear? What would change if you truly believed God is doing something now?
