Day 5: Worshiping in Spirit and Truth
Reading: John 4:19-26; Romans 12:1-2
Devotional: When the Magi found Jesus, they bowed down and worshiped Him. True worship isn't confined to Sunday services—it's the offering of our entire lives. Paul calls this our "spiritual act of worship." The Samaritan woman asked Jesus about the right place to worship, but Jesus redirected her: true worshipers worship in spirit and truth, regardless of location. Worship happens when we acknowledge who Jesus is—our King, our God, our Savior, our Priest—and respond with surrendered lives. It's choosing obedience when disobedience would be easier. It's giving generously when culture says to hoard. It's serving humbly when pride demands recognition. As you begin this year, commit to worship beyond songs. How can your daily choices become acts of worship? Let your life become the gift you present to the King who gave everything for you.
