Fancy Keeping Kinson on Time?

Imagine being part of a tiny team that quite literally keeps the heart of our church beating in time with the community around it. High above the church, our beautiful historic clock and its bell is still wound by hand - and we’d welcome a few new volunteers to join a rota to keep it going strong.

This is not a heavy commitment or a technical challenge. It takes a few minutes a couple of times a week, just after morning prayer or similar.

Full guidance and training is give (although it is wonderfully simple) and most people are surprised by how peaceful and satisfying it feels. There is something quietly joyful about caring for a piece of living history that thousands of people hear every day as they walk, drive, and cycle. Your small act of service becomes a daily gift to the whole neighborhood.

Whether you love practical jobs, enjoy gentle routines, or simply want a meaningful way to contribute behind the scenes, this could be a perfect fit?

You do not need experience, strength, or lots of spare time. just a willingness to help and be part of a friendly little rota.

If this sparks your curiosity, we would love to hear from you. Speak to Iain M, contact the church office, or drop us a message through the website.

Come and help us keep time ticking, history alive, and the church quietly serving Kinson every single day.
