Nov 25th - Worship That Transforms

Day 2: Worship That Transforms

Devotional: God desires worship that flows into justice. The Israelites had vibrant religious lives—festivals, sacrifices, songs—but their hearts were far from God's priorities. Their worship was performance without transformation. True worship cannot be separated from how we treat the vulnerable. When we gather on Sunday, are we also standing with the oppressed on Monday? James reminds us that pure religion involves caring for orphans and widows. Our songs mean nothing if we ignore the suffering around us. Worship should change us, making us more like Jesus—advocates for the powerless, voices for the voiceless. This week, ask yourself: Does my worship lead to justice? How can I integrate my faith with action for those in need?
