William Temple Association
Just to remind you that the next meeting of the Bournemouth William Temple Association is on Monday 3rd November at the Marsham Court Hotel, Bournemouth. The meeting starts at 7.40pm but beforehand there is an optional dinner at 6.30pm.
The speaker for the evening is Mr Tim Cosby, Regional Co-ordinator of Mission Aviation Fellowship. His talk is entitled "MAF: The Story of the World's Largest Humanitarian Air Operator". The pilots and engineers of this important organisation work to bring medical supplies, doctors and nurses to places which can only be reached by air. The charity works with over 1,500 organisations globally providing the equivalent of the 'donkey' service in the parable of the Good Samaritan. Their stories are as exciting as they are inspiring.
Looking further ahead for those with bi-monthly publications, the Association's next talk is on Monday, 1st December 2025 and will be given by The Right Reverend Stephen Lake, Bishop of Salisbury and his talk is entitled "Christian Witness at a Time of Anxiety".
