Our Glorious Hope

Reading: Isaiah 11:10; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Devotional: "The root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him and his resting place will be glorious." This is our ultimate hope—not just improved circumstances, but Christ Himself. When He returns, He will take us home to a glorious resting place. This hope should encourage us daily, especially amid trials. The threats we face—war, erosion of faith, injustice, creation groaning—mirror those of Isaiah's time. Yet God's answer remains the same: Emmanuel, God with us. Over 2,000 years ago, everything changed when the Messiah came. He secured our pardon through His death and resurrection. As you conclude this devotional journey, let this glorious hope energize your faith. Encourage fellow believers. Share the gospel with those who don't know Jesus. Live expectantly, knowing Christ could return today. How will this hope transform your priorities this Advent season?
