Perfect Justice
Reading: Isaiah 11:3-5; Luke 4:16-21
Devotional: Jesus doesn't judge by appearances or hearsay—He sees the heart. His justice favors neither rich nor poor based on status, but righteousness prevails for all. The King champions the needy not through bias, but through perfect fairness. We cry out for justice in our world, yet we must remember that true justice comes only through Christ. He is "dressed for action" with righteousness as His belt and faithfulness as His sash. When Jesus returns, the wicked will face judgment, but those clothed in His righteousness will find mercy. This Advent, examine your own heart: Do you trust Christ's justice even when it's uncomfortable? Are you seeking His righteousness, or your own version of fairness? Remember, without Christ, we all face judgment—but in Him, we find glorious hope.
