Investment in West Howe

Jessica Toale MP has announced that West Howe will receive £20 million in long‑term investment through the Pride in Place Programme. This is a major milestone for our area, with £2 million set to be invested every year for the next decade. The funding could support improvements to local facilities, create jobs and opportunities for young people, and help make our streets safer and cleaner.

Crucially, residents will decide how this money is spent. Every pound should reflect the priorities of the people who live here.

Jessica is asking local people to share their views in two ways:

  • By completing her community survey

  • By attending a community event this Friday 24th April, 17:30-18:30.

This is a real chance for West Howe to shape its future, and your voice can make a meaningful difference. You can fill in the survey and register to attend the meeting, here: Pride in Place West Howe | Jessica Toale. You'll receive an email shortly before the meeting confirming the venue.
